The turnaround for melodic hard rock

Eye of the Storm (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I am not one of the music-lovers in principle assert the older metal music (the one with which we have grown up) is better than the present, but in the case Stormwitch this is true unfortunately. I compare this CD with the current discs, I have to wonder, the Stormwitch are no longer able to return to its former quality, but produce only unit Sound tabs.
Well, but this disc. The fifth release comes up with the first line-up changes. Ronnie Pearson (aka Gleissberg) leaves the band for personal reasons. The sound of the disc is also a turnaround. One no longer offers the fans only exclusively heavy metal but also brings in the pieces this time American-inspired hard rock with a. The re-composed by Spengler / Kaufmann pieces have failed more commercial and the band (along with new bassist) presented not as fast and hard. But what the song material does not harm, because the once hard guitar sound is indeed almost entirely given way to a more emotional work fine, but this very fine work animated Andy Mück's (aka Andy Aldrin) voice to new heights ...
CONCLUSION: A classic that had finally deserves to be revered as a classic ...
