The "Zoom" for photography

Browsing the internet I came across time and again on photos from the Macro-area that I found exciting and took me to want to try sometimes. For the simple "try it" were my Macro lenses but a too high investment. Almost by chance, I was aware of the slip-on lenses of Raynox due to various posts, said repeatedly the DCR-150 and DCR-250 were recommended. Further research revealed what actually is also obvious: Increasing the DCR-250 is significantly larger, but also the sharpening area is significantly smaller. Therefore, a lot of my purchase to the "smaller" DCR-150th An investment that I do not regret.
I use the attachment with my Canon EOS400D with the then supplied Objektivset 50-80 and 80-200.
In both matches the plug attachment and both the use of the auto focus is possible, which can lead to minor complications depending on the shooting range. Edges education I have thereby been able to find only in the bottom areas and even there only minimally.
Mostly I use the autofocus to get the subject quickly reasonably sharp and then disguise the lens focus manually to get my gewünschen Berich - which of course only works with fixed motives. Macro photos of very active animals with some low flight distance are rather difficult to get added. When manually Focussieren that is certainly an exercise question.

Many photos succeed even without a tripod, but if you want to produce macro photos with greater depth of field, you will not get around the "Macro Stacking", ie merging several images with different Tiefenschärfenberech. There are various software. Here, it is very helpful if the subject also remains approximately the same - in other words: a tripod to prevent picture, distance, etc. will remain the same, is very useful, not to say indispensable.
But then already one approaches the more professional area over the "testing times" clearly goes.
Flowers, drops of water, quieter and larger animals with smaller flight distance, like butterflies or bees can easily with the DCR-150 photography and already gets impressive macro pictures.

My conclusion: The Raynox DCR-150 Macro Conversion is worth the money and makes especially hungry for more;)

The technical data are indeed very well represented in the article. The smaller lens is screwed into the slip-ring and then placed on a lens (filter). The whole keeps very well, it wobbles nothing. Take the paper and the actual lens 2 lens covers are included. The greater is attached to the front portion of the lens - this is also possible if the lens is threaded into the attachment. The smaller is plugged onto the thread of the lens - is accordingly only possible when the lens is detached from Austeck-intent.
Also supplied is a clear plastic box and some foam. In order for the safe storage and transportation is quite possible. The intent-ring is in this case diagonally inserted into the box and the two pressure points must be lightly pressed. This keeps the whole then also safely in the box.

I am absolutely satisfied with the product and for me was the purchase of the Raynox DCR-150 Macro intent of (good and cheap) entry into the world of macro photography :)
