The AC adapter has just blown after two weeks of normal use, there's been a sizzling at the beginning followed by a small explosion and ended up a burnt plastic smell. I assure you my ipod has nothing, yet happy, but this type of incident is causing involuntary fire so therefore really dangerous. The adage small price = poor quality of circumstance. I am going to buy another more expensive made in Japan rather than China if possible)
