Mainly I thought the machine could possibly enable old SAS server hard drives comfortably reformat / to have stuck without the plates again in a server delete (mainly is indeed not always an unproductive server available).

In short, I was wrong, the part works absolutely nothing, neither one of my SAS hard drives will be recognized even one of my SATA hard drives ... now I have tried several different hard drives to 2 different computers - without success.

Therefore I can only strongly advise against the purchase and will return the part.
