Looking at the songs that are included on "Greatest Hits II", it is noticeable that some of them (eg. B. Radio Gaga, I Want To Break Free, A Kind Of Magic, Under Pressure) regularly today in the Media can be heard - often in the regular program and not in any oldies nostalgia shows. There are also some songs that are not so often heard for some time, but in the 80s and 90s were absolutely amazing (z. B. Innuendo, Hammer To Fall, Breakthru) and today count among fans of the absolute favorites.
"Greatest Hits II" is therefore in my view an essential rock album that should be in every well-stocked record collection. It provides a good overview of the 2nd work phase one of the biggest rock bands of all time. Who wants to deal more intensively with the "late work" by Queen, but you should definitely buy the albums "Innuendo" and "Made in Heaven", as they will in addition to the already mentioned "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" and the Singles of 1995 released album "Made In Heaven" (Heaven For Everyone, You Do not Fool Me, Let Me Live).
The sound of the album is as you would expect: clear and brilliant, without the warmth that characterizes the sound of Queen, would have been lost.
