I received this book for Christmas, and I do not get enough. It is first a beautiful object as a book cover almost a woven effect, the pages are thick quality paper. Véronique Enginger has immense talent, the reasons for this retro imagier have a charm, the colors are beautiful, bright. This book is a feast for the eyes, because even if we do not embroider, there playback (recipe here, a poem there, stories, riddles ...). The reasons are presented in the manner of a picture book, with borders of ideas here and there, embroideries are pictures in the first part (which can be discovered by clicking "browse", there are also some implementation of other suggestions and the end of the book is devoted to the gates, and all the letters of the alphabet (upper case, lower case, small caps, small semi cursive), numbers and some elements proposed in sewing (empty wall pocket, toy basket, baby food, protects specifications). There are also 4 pages devoted to technical and accessories (especially useful for beginners). All presented with a retro charm of reading books from our parents and Grand parents.
