The first impression -> film is too small.
But this is deceptive, at least in width.
The film covers most exactly the illuminated edge of the display.
This means that the curvature of the display will slide freely.
Is probably a good thing because of the curvature of the display would be solved probably pretty quickly.
-> BUT is what in my opinion is not at all:
The film covers the Home, Menu, Search and Back button only about half off.
That's really fucked up, because every time you feel the edge, which is still clearly felt (unless you have 1cm calluses on the fingertips).
I would urgently rectify.
Make either longer or shorter, so, anyway.
-> The film actually makes a stable and solid impression.
It is slightly thicker than many other film that they should empower sometimes insert "real" scratch, without which pass to the display. For this, the films are for.
For durability, I can say nothing, because I have the film again removed and thrown in the trash (because of the problem of the length - that bothers me immensely !!)
-> On the subject of mirrors and fingerprint resistance, I can not say anything, but the film was not long enough on it.
-> A few more tips for attaching the film:
Who happens to no cleanroom calls his own, should wait to attach to after showering and then make the bathroom. No joke, I've been doing since my first film so and had no problems with dust under the film ... just as an idea.
Is on the "instructions" of the film, man should start at the "edge" ...
The tab for peeling the backing sheet is below (where later the Home keys etc).
So either you glued the foil lengthwise from right to left.
Or you draw the carrier film off completely and start UP! on to display.
If your namely on the narrow board below to begin (after statement Quote: "... exactly flush with the edge of the screen ...), you will quickly notice that the film then stands up.
Then it's abfummeln, watch that you do not tatscht on the adhesive side, etc.
Hopefully I could help you a little in the decision.
