I do so mainly batteries for remote controls of remote-controlled vehicles. They are true energy guzzlers and I definitely buy more cheap batteries before I buy brand batteries.
But not everything is cheap should buy. Of zinc-carbon batteries should always keep their hands that are not really cheaper, but faster empty than alkaline batteries.
Duracell advertises that thanks Duralock the batteries have virtually no loss in storage 10 years. I'll never be able to check, but even if it were so: Since you buy rather then a set of inexpensive new batteries. Only the Power check, who is known by Duracell really makes sense, so you always see if a battery is still nearly full or nearly empty. But it is precisely this great feature does not offer this PowerPlus battery. That would go a nasty surprises spare.
But if one is so much more worth the money? As I pack maybe a one set extra batteries. Ultimately, everyone must know himself whether he prefers to save money and for a couple of times more likely to change the batteries or if he spends a little more and it does not have quite as often change.
Conclusion:
The Duracell Power Batteries are good, with plenty of power, no question. If you ask me I would still rate to less expensive alkaline batteries because they simply more of the money.
