Got the Sonos range looked at for some time and then slammed yesterday. For now, it should be a Play 1.
The device via iPad went smoothly and was done fix. When I tried to access via iPhone to Play 1 (on the clear Sonos app), the Play 1 was not found immediately, but then it worked. A similar "problem" I have now also sometimes with the iPad. But I must say that our wireless router also surfing frequently causes problems in the neighborhood and there is a huge amount of other wireless networks here, which can certainly lead to disturbances. Since Sonos meets so no blame, you just need a working router and then it should fit.
I've played music that was on my equipment, was smooth.
Something I'm scared when I saw that I got my beloved Radio.de- app can not use the Play 1. A look at the Sonos app brought reassurance: (? Almost) there you can conveniently search any radio station in the world and find.
The sound is extremely good for such a small box. In the factory default setting has rich bass and clear treble. As an ambitious musician me but the centers went from something (there is playing the song, the guitars and many harmonics of instruments from deeper). With a few clicks in the app I saw, however, that the so-called "Loudness" - feature was enabled by default. This is an increase of the bass and treble at the expense of the middle. So just shut the setting and you have a well-balanced sound.

Bin total very enthusiastic, the connection problems I laste at Sonos NOT. It is definitely a Playbar, a sub and a second Play 1 follow in order to create a real surround system. Also for the bathroom probably still has her an additional Play 1.
