Got myself at Media Markt for 499 this notebook and now own it for about a week. Take it home and decorated. Win8 was not as bad as I expected, even here and there a few really cool gimmicks. The screen like me. Dissolves well and does not have any annoying quirks. Now why am I not so enthusiastic: The notebook is sometimes extremely slow !? Example: I want three files that are on my desktop to delete. Right click -> Delete -> Wait Wait Wait Wait ...... Deleted ... Wtf? Is this your serious? Then later: Right-click on the desktop and the laptop needs beaten 10 seconds the menu to open! Another example: I wanted to play on my Nexus Music. Several times the Explorer crashes and gets nothing in the series. Although I wanted to play only two albums, my laptop seemed to be overloaded. Had the connection caps several times and re-establish it's running again. Then you can hear under stress always a crackling sound from the housing. I'm not fussy but often it drives me to the border aggression, especially if the laptop again so long to get to perform the smallest operation. Another drawback: The spacebar often not working. You have to correct often because the space key spacing is not inserted even though you press the spacebar to normal his sentences. You must then re-laid so nachkloppen the distance is added. I do not know why that is but it sucks mightily. Lack of quality? Honestly: Is this the new standard for 500 laptops? There was and would my 6 year old Toshiba Satellite but much better (if it does not overheat would -.-) I'm kinda disappointed because I wanted to have a lively and chic notebook. Schick is, no question, but not afloat somehow or I've got false expectations? Had today even my first crash and that after a week use. Windows scrap. Sometimes I really feel the 200 charge in an Apple device worth it easy. I'm considering strongly to allow the unit to convert.
Conclusion: If it runs then runs it and not bad but the shortcomings occurring annoy me tremendously. It may be that I have high expectations but it's how it is.
