"Plea of Insanity" which indeed psychologically thrilling & educating - very much like that. It was therefore very sympathetic to Those Who suffer from schizophrenia. I learned lots of things, I never really thought about before reading this book. So She Encourages readers to ponder the purpose of the death penalty. THEREFORE she thus succeeded in making this book on educating one.
Result: The saying goes all good things did come in threes. That's definitely true for Hoffman's third outing. Better than "Retribution" and by far more suspenseful than "Last Witness". "Plea of Insanity" is at least as good as Cornwell in her prime! I could not put it down, what nailed to my armchair and finished it in two sittings! Definitely worth the investment!
