The rates are very good, as USB2.0 USB3.0:
In USB3.0., Windows 8 gives me 44Mo / s write and 104Mo / s read.
And USB2.0, 24MB / s write against 30MB / s read.
Of course, these rates drop when copying small files rather than large, but in any case, it's very nice. A light appears by transparency during transfers. The Key hardly heated.
For the rest, everything surprisingly small, incredibly light and probably fragile. Including the tiny strap and clip for the welcome. Apart from the internal contacts to the USB2 and USB3, EVERYTHING IS PLASTIC, even the outside of the USB connector is to be inserted into a USB port.
One must be cautious when using the retraction mechanism of the key, and also when inserting or removing the key. But what worries me most is that the connector is not metal like all the keys that I have had until now, but plastic: the plastic power connector and scratches on many USB2.0 ports where I tried it, and even more on my one USB3.0 port. I hope I will not have to break in using this key!
Too bad the packaging is so "cheap" because the transfer performance is really nice. Suddenly, the price / quality ratio does not seem to me necessarily exceptional ... The manufacturer's warranty policy is not specified: Some competitors (r) provide much more!
In my opinion, to book for public distribution and very cautious ... until that price competition USB3 down (not just for key which only the read rate are correct).
