After tests of unsatisfactory, the inlay of my LowePro Stealth Reporter D300 AW to use removable in normal shoulder bags, I researched for inlays of other manufacturers and came across the "Mountainsmith Kit Cube Black". The dimensions sounded promising, so I ordered this bag directly. And I now have to admit: This inlay has absolutely exceeded my expectations.
To bag yourself:
The bag fits perfectly in my Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag (size S) and sums up doing a Nikon D700 with attached 24-120er / f4 + SB-700 with mounted diffuser. Besides, I can even accommodate a 50 fixed focal length if necessary. Then the bag is also fully without "bags", so to change their specified basic dimensions. The two internal dividers as well as the bag itself processed very high quality and offer different variations. The padding of the entire inlay is in my view again a bit better than the inside pocket of my LowePro above. To a pull cord to cover closing I generally handled and placed around the bag, so I reach my equipment quickly. This includes the way flush with the top edge from and is not about / forth.
A big advantage of the inlay is also that you get due to the soft material and a D700 with attached battery grip (MB-D10) into it, so: In addition to already described further equipment! Although the bag bulges out then something still allows the camera to perfectly remove or stow.
All in all, the Smith Mountain Kit Cube Black money is absolutely worth it, and I clearly recommended if you're looking for a flexible use camera to virtually make each bag to camera bag.
