When a few years ago appeared a revised version of Ocarina for the Nintendo 3DS, also equal voices were raised that Majora's Mask necessarily should also undergo a refit! Directly after that Greezo made, in Nintendo's behalf, to work and the result speaks for itself:
Majora's Mask has been completely revamped and now benefits from the strengths of the Nintendo 3DS or New 3DS. The textures have been completely revised and are full of details, at every turn is something to see. In addition to the textures significantly more objects have been placed, for everything from grass to the tree, both in the cut-scenes, as well as in the dungeons and overworld.
Also, the polygon models of the figures have been revised; Firstly, the number of those was increased, so that the figures obtained a more natural shape, on the other hand the movements of the characters have been improved in order to obtain smoother workflow.
All in all it has been completely improved significantly, without abandoning the spirit and soul of the game.
About the story is actually not much to say, most know this already, but still here's a little summary: Looking for the fairy Navi (from Ocarina) is Link of Skull Kid (also from Ocarina known) attack, which under the spell is of Majora's Mask. Skull Kid steals link the Ocarina of Time and flees ... As Link wants to follow him, he enters the world of Termina, this is but transformed by Skull Kid in a Deku. In Termina arrived he faces a huge problem! He has to find and save the world, because the moon will plunge into the world 72 hours to the Ocarina ...
The Special Edition of Majora's Mask includes not only the game still loads of additional content that is really very high quality and value to this special game wonderfully and this will also meet. In the beautifully designed, made of high-quality cardboard, packaging of solid cardboard (not as flabby as the SE of A Link Between Worlds), the actual game (in the original package), and a noble Steelbook, a double-sided poster (includes also made high-quality paper) and a pin in the form of Majora's Mask (again specially packaged in an elegant jewelry printed slipcase). For this EIA, the content is simply unbeatable and a SE absolutely worthy! For me the highlight that Nintendo has chosen Japanese color of the packaging for the original and not the green design used in Europe in early 2000. Although there is only a little thing, but I finds super :-)
Conclusion: A gigantic, exciting, dark and above all entertaining adventure, which still puts most other games on the market loose in the bag. The Special Edition completes the whole with great and high quality offerings. Here you have to slam shut and enjoy this part of the Zelda history easy!
