Looking for a "holiday Suhr" for swimming, snorkeling and maybe dive I came up with the Citizen Promaster BN0100-00E. Since I have some good mechanical watches, but does not wish to expose the salt water and an eventual loss, I was looking for something inexpensive and simple. Then I had this clock just right. Through the Eco-Drive (via solar cell charged battery, which supplies a quartz movement) I do not need to worry about this clock, when it is not needed after the holiday. Just put it in a bright place and forget. Sounds good. Those like me who is a friend of clear dials, which is like this clock. No frills, time and date, surrounded by a rotating bezel - perfect. The labeling of the bezel is - as noted already by "No Tux" - run a little big. Otherwise but no numbers on the dial are present, acts not inconsistent to me. The bezel itself snaps cleanly and precisely, the markings nice to dial. The brightness of the display is good - better than many other watches, especially in this price segment. Even in the dim light you can already find a luminous effect. Only the pointer (second and minute) could in fact have a little less game - but that's more of an aesthetic aspect. In daily use, it does not bother.
If the venerable now survive the holidays and well without flooding, I am fully satisfied.
