The blog entries themselves are always similar in structure. They almost always begin with a brief answer to the question of (the usually reads "we would all the" in various versions) and then explains why. Randall Munroe manages the process easy to be scientific observations and calculations as incorporated into the answer with that also any non-math-Spezi has no problems to understand the whole. And he proves in many places, that he has an enormous amount of idea and sometimes looks outside the box. When asked "What would happen if all people are to each other as closely as possible and jump at the same time", he refers at the very beginning to other sources, who all already calculated down to the last detail. He then goes to see what actually happens when 6 billion people in Rhode Iceland are and want to go home.
The whole has a lot of black humor ("Nearly everyone would the. THEN things would get interesting") and is broken up by the Stickman Comics middle glorious. However, it is quite intelligent humor, which is not for everyone. I love it but excellent.
Buy recommendation yes, but you can most of it just simply read on the blog. It reads very pleasant in book form, you can do it easier to share and there are also some new things in there that are well worth it to read.
