1) I used this screen (Model 168B +) successfully on a MacBook Air 2012 (USB3) and Mavericks. I had a lot more trouble on a MacBook Pro Retina 13.3 Yosemite in late 2013, to find the next tip. The display was not recognized due to a USB port's power failure in 3.0 mode, I was not able to compensate with a port and a power supply Y. external. However, USB 2.0 port is more powerful, hence the idea to couple the USB 3.0 cable provided (required connector for the screen) using a small USB 2.0 extension connected to the computer. The computer recognizes a USB 2.0 cable and provided the necessary power, without any problems, including use of battery power. 2) General Tips also: - Think MacOS to install MatroxPowerDesk / DisplayLink - To adjust the horizontal or vertical screen orientation, thinking MacOS to install SwitchResX sufficient free version. - Non Adjustable brightness MacOS, but after setting in Windows, now I find quite decent MacOS.
