Picture is great and no worse or better than the Philips HD receiver, which I had previously. The HD + stations run smoothly.
Switching times are absolutely OK and not fall further on. Crashes so far no, not even during rapid reciprocating herchanneln. The menu and other on-screen messages are clear and relatively detailed labeled in German. So halfway correct German - not a machine-translated Chinese. Although this is not really important, but I have noticed positive.
Really good I find the channel list editor and the managing favorites. This is clear and fast. You can select, for example, within the FAV list several (even "disjointed") transmitter and then move together to a new position within the list. Very comfortable.
Recording to USB devices also works - sometimes even without any problems;) A USB flash drive worked immediately, with a 500GB disk, I had to format it FAT32, so it has been detected. Unfortunately, that goes under Win Vista is not so readily. Since then helps but the tool "h2format" which you can download at Heise, Chip etc. The programming of recordings via the EPG also works without problems.
The only drawback with the device is the lack of coaxial audio output for me. An optical output is available, but all optical inputs on my Audioreveiver already occupied. That would not be so bad if the SL60HD + because would spend on the HDMI output and AC3 sound. But he does not. Too Bad ...
Topic on times: Yes, that takes a while, when the device was removed from the current (2 min.). And if there will be a firmware update, it takes two / three little while (30 min.). From the standby mode, the part will start within 30-40 seconds, also depends on whether a USB device is connected. Then it will take longer than normal USB device. So far, but not annoying me that.
Conclusion: Super device with top price-performance ratio
