I have now read through some reviews here, and wanted to submit to three negative points mentioned a note.
-It Is criticism ... "drawer does not open with the remote control".
The problem is certainly an operator error! Pretty middle of the remote, the icon is open the loading (triangle with an underscore). The button will already be occupied by the stop button (Symbol Square). This key has a double occupancy !!! Pressing this 1 second, the movie stops. Pressing this for about 3 seconds, then opens the pull-out drawer. Close goes with renewed 3 seconds, or even faster Play button (triangle), or OK in the center pad.
-It Is criticism ... "Originally wanted to connect the stereo, no slot available for this purpose"
This is due to a lack of knowledge. Unfortunately, it is true, have the particularly modern playback devices increases no more analog audio outputs. In my opinion, a disgrace (especially for lovers of high-end analog stereo equipment), but never mind that. This problem can be solved by means of a tiny converter. I opted for the "Digital to Analog Converter Ligawo", one can find the way to the marketplace by Amazon. Easy to connect. It shall deliver the digital audio output back to the player, connects it to the converter. This additionally requires an operating voltage via socket (the converter enclosed power unit), or gets this like me over USB on the player. Benefit from the USB port, the converter switches at the same time with the player on and off automatically. At the other end connecting it via the old known normal RCA jacks (on the converter) at the analog stereo, whatever. Especially great to the converter I found the additional output "jack 3.5 mm", which is used among other things for the insertion of headphones. Consequently, the binding of analog sound systems at the aforementioned Blu-ray player is basically realized !!!
-It Is criticism ... "places noise & sound problems". I had that too. It appeared to me in some DVD / BluRay menu's or in Endsceen's etc depending on the data on the disks at different locations again and again. One reason could be an analog stereo terminal should listen to the sound, the audio settings are set incorrectly. Was the reason for me. "Setting" menu, you can find the audio settings. Turns under "digital audio" on the setting "PCM" to if you do not explicitly suitable Dolby Digital audio output device used for multi-channel formats. So my sound problems were solved.
Note to the Audio Settings
Bitstream means that the digital data stream is completely unedited forwarded to the output. (This signal can only suitable equipment to process)
PCM (Pulse-Code Modulation) means at the point that a simple, uncompressed stereo sound is being transmitted. (This signal is understood by just about any device)
Conclusion:
There is nothing negative to say about the players. All I expect from this device is fulfilled. He has nothing which he does not need, and does exactly what it should.
Quietly, quickly, reliably, and without annoying Hochglanzobefläche from housing. The would look after some abgefummelt and scratched anyway = P.
