Dear valued customers,
I am a student for 3 years and use the iPad for about 2 years every day for the University of use. Say, I have there all lecture slides, exercises, seminar papers, etc. edited, written and stored with Good Notes.
Therefore I find it embarrassing when some people claimed this pin is "harmful" for iPad's or he could not so neatly write. If someone is not able to use this pen, it is foolishly on-using, not the pen.
Now the pen: I have worked at the beginning with the Jot Pro V2 and later bought the V3. From writing feel her, I could not tell the difference. The V3 I bought because my first pin has been lost in the lecture hall.
I have now ALL (I mean everyone!) Tested pins for iPad (July 13). Any pins with rubber attachment can be taken from the Amazon shipping package and deliver directly to the trash. No one gives even begin a normal writing / drawing feel.
I have continued to purchase pins as the Aiptek MyNote Pen, which are controlled via a radio link. These I do not recommend, since it writes displaced throughout (-> Google).
When adonitol I then ceased to continue testing, I'm really happy in all areas. The pen is pretty hard and feels high quality. By rubber wrapping the fingers do not slip away. The pen cap can be screwed onto the end of the pin, so you lose nothing (except one loses, like me, the entire pen ;-)).
SCRATCHES: My iPad (third generation) still looks exactly like on the day of purchase. I just got straight extra again assured: I did not even micro-scratches on the surface! The iPad is protected by a perfectly ordinary Apple case and before I start writing I wipe briefly with his sleeve over it. That's it!
Since I am rarely found in the sandbox, there are no "small stones or similar hard crumbs" on the surface. Who care deal with his property, so also bypasses scratches.,
Only again for info: I use the adonitol almost every day for a year. This year I have counted roughly together, written more than 1,200 pages in text form. These again 1.2GB come to lecture material that has been processed.
Who would do that to a useless pen? I do not at least.
Now the last and most important part: Why write my stylus is not so good and yours?
Without the pen to modify something, I could also notice it, that the contact is not guaranteed to be 100%. In itself it would not be much of a problem, but by scribbling I wanted to fix it.
Everyone knows that the iPad has a capacitive touch screen. However, the adonitol has only this small, thin metal rods behind the plastic plate which is conductive (ie our fingers mimics).
If I, however, attach a tiny area with aluminum foil on the plastic plate (yes, aluminum foil derives great!), The contact problem is solved on the spot.
Although the transparent plate is now partially covered, but this little flaw can be ignored safely.
Yet another tip: In order to save your money for the replacement tile, I suggest to cut off a piece of scotch tape to pull the pin out and finally cut off with a pair of nail scissors a circular, slightly protruding edge. This now tilted upwards and press the aluminum foil. Thus, the foil keeps better and the plate does not have to be renewed.
Photos by customers pictures!
On request, a small guide:
1.a smooth (!) Cut piece of aluminum foil, so that the surface extends a little over the plate.
2. Place aluminum foil on the table, put pen including platelets centrally on the aluminum foil.
3. aluminum foil upward fold away the top and firmly press and a bit 'zerknüddeln "so that it keeps well.
4. time to cut a piece of scotch in the same size as before in aluminum foil and apply the same procedure as before.
5. If necessary, cut scotch interfering residues with a pair of nail scissors.
6. Test pen and rejoice ;-)
And now again to anyone claiming the pin taugenichts ....
Many Greetings
