After my old CX300 are after more than 5 years simply ausgefalen, had her new earphones.
For a long time I have read Rezesionen, studies, specifications, etc. and some products sample belongs.
Few products were nearly ran to the performance of the old earphones.
Therefore, it probably had to be the second generation of the CX300.

After the usual fast delivery from Amazon I have unpacked and inspected the CX300 II.
As always, very high quality workmanship, as I am used Sennheiser products.
The first pre-listening to different devices has mcih but a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, the advertised bass-driven sound remained somewhat. For the treble and midrange in the mid volume range were very clean and clear. Unfortunately there was to round out the sound of a little bass.
After prolonged fortuitous felt the earphones, thanks to the good silicon pads, still very pleasant in the ear. The silicone pads protect the ear canal from pretty much. So that you can no longer warnehmen directly to the outside world. I noticed, however, that has somehow subsided felt the sound by just over 2 weeks.
A brief question at Sennheiser, as it Hies which may be normal.
For this reason, I have the CX 300 II sent back and I finally decided on another product.

Whoever does not put as much emphasis on Excel duck sound, makes the CX 300 II nothing wrong. The workmanship is very good, sound technically well within the acceptable range. If you want more, you should look in a different price segment.
