The car is characterized by its short wheelbase highly manoeuvrable, the wide track of the rear wheels driving yet very stable. The rear wheels are relatively wide and very well supported, which allows even on poor surfaces (cobblestones, meadow) a good progress. The comfort of the passenger regarding but clearly determine that a spring-loaded car, possibly even with pneumatic tires, significantly more comfort. The parking brake is smart solution: Press the lever on the right wheel: Enable brake. On the left-hand lever press: Release brake. The grip of the wheels is good, so it is really stable (resp. Important in bus travel) with activated brakes.
The folding mechanism of the chassis is just awesome, tiny it can be folded. Anything but small, however, the seat shell that can not be divided for transport. Who this is too bulky, should be for the Zapp (without "Xtra") decide where the seat unit can mitfalten. The Zapp Xtra, however, has the advantage that can adjust the inclination of the seat and it can be mounted in reverse (so that the child looks back to pushing). The Zapp Xtra also offers the possibility to mount via supplied adapter a baby car seat, what we initially also used a lot. Those who can not decide, can also set the seat unit of Zapp and use both versions for Zapp Xtra.
Class is the top, the sun protection is sufficient when needed so deep down that you need in most situations no other sunscreen. The basket under the seat, however, is not too large and is centered also still traversed by a strut of the chassis. For such a compact car, it is ok.
For leisure travel by air, the following procedure has proved successful: the seat shell and chassis separate, combine the latter. Then the two parts firmly with a strap (strap, luggage strap o. Ä.) Constriction (the chassis is then as it were, in the seat shell) and put everything into a stroller bag. Very important: Remove the mounting adapter for seat or carrycot and stowed separately, they are easy to lose.
Probably it is not to be overlooked: We are excited about this car!
