The player has been supplied fix. First impression: chic !. Looks more like a Finnish smartphone. And it one must not be led astray. The player must be kept across, so that the keys are right. This then means that you have to take the second hand to almost always, if you have to press the button with the thumb of the right hand.
The display is okay. It is bright, colorful, offers plenty of space for information. Even videos can bear it.
The supplied headphones I have not even tried, instead, I have a Koss Porta Pro Classic connected, fed the player with music and was then in some surprise. The player can "Full Sound", something like the "Loudness" function older car radios. The first songs that sounds very well and is fun because the bass and highlighted the same time sounding the treble clearer.
But me personally, it has eventually annoyed because it was very exhausting. It was not too much time because you could turn the Philips readily too loud. Once you want to exceed a certain point, you will hear a high-pitched, almost aching warning, to an alarm and that's it. Here you can also set the maximum volume. The question arises then, why you then ever so establishes a Laustärkesperre if you can overcome them anyway?
In the further course then questions came up:
Why keep the Akks even in standby than two days?
Why should you install a soft If on the PC, if you can grab music by simply dragging it to the player?
Why has the cursor key "Down" function to a song skipping next? Would not have been appropriate "up"?
Furthermore, it was noted that the display is so easily scratched that after 20 minutes carry in your pocket a sweatpants (where nothing else was in there!) Had first signs of wear.
The fact that the menu system even after days not liquid ran (sometimes jerky) was also the fact that the keys are rather small not ergonomic on the edge of the device. And to make matters worse, they have no markings such as so small nipple where you stand as the Skip buttons could detect.
As a pure video player, the device also is not good, unfortunately, for the resolution of the display is not appealing enough. As a pure MP3 player with eight GB of blue Philips hardly is good unfortunately. For this, the control too cumbersome (see key assignment) and the battery is too fast too flat. And the "Haben will" unfortunately factor also plays a decisive role. For the five keys a bit too cheap act (sound when you press almost as bright as a computer mouse) and the display is not resistant enough. After some time I did this device almost suffering. It may not have much. But a few may not be as good as that one could overlook the numerous weaknesses.
All in all, no recommendation! Unfortunately.
