Much has already been said about this camera and all the positive aspects, I can only agree. Here are some points I noticed as very negative for my purpose. Comparison of the above points to the Sony HX9V: > Apart from the fact that it has only a continuous shooting mode: Always makes the maximum number of images (12), the preview is three times as fast, all (continuous shutter) settings are retained even when switched off. The autofocus will work in the video, even at telephoto settings quickly. > Photos while video: Just as you imagine it: Video without "holes" and sharp photos > Processing: consistently very good. The only shortcoming: the zoom has a slight delay of the operation of the zoom lever to the movement of the motor.
If I would buy the Fuji again: clear NO. Perhaps a firmware 2.x. But I do not think that that comes at all. Too bad. With better firmware could so get out of a per se well imaginary camera much more !!!
Sure, this is not high-end SLR. But Sony shows that with a reasonably sophisticated firmware and thoughtful features more feasible. This is the real big Manke. Prinzipell the HS20 bring even more than you can expect in the Klasser ... ... if it was because implmentiert clean and finished thought.
