So, one way forward: The game was too much "hyped". Naturally, because the first part probably an absolute force is (I never played). What is, however, immediately caught my eye is the fact that the promotional images have been edited heavily by Codemasters. In several images, the game looks graphically bombig. Crisp textures, detailed environment and vehicle, the soldiers looked very real. In the final game that is unfortunately not the case ... the graphics is very simple, therefore, acts as if she would have under their belt for many years. Muddy textures, pop-ups (landscape piecemeal builds up), landscapes look very drab and colorless (usually a grayish, brownish, greenish mass). Initially has me very disturbed because it is simply a sham and far removed from what Codemasters has previously shown. Meanwhile, it does not bother me more, because graphics are not everything, but she would definitely have been better!
The campaign is crisp hard. Here Codemasters has not exaggerated. By no later than 6 Mission's is fierce. Tactical procedure is mandatory because the opponents have eagle eyes and are very unerringly. By waypoints signaled a where to go and what to do there. Good and simple made. The menu and the whole layout act thoughtfully and are reduced to the most essential, so that the screen is not cluttered with ünnötig information. I like it! The control is also quite good from the hand - contrary to other opinions I find the control and not complicated. However, the AI comrades are not very bright, rarely do what you tell them. And if they do, then not really satisfactory. Sometimes they run out of cover, remain short standing in an open meadow, as if they would have to first think about what they are supposed to do and then came under fire. All in all, the AI acts as the graphics very outdated and immature. The missions themselves are quite ok. Mostly it comes to destroying or similar guns. Noticed something negative is my eternal wandering around. Mostly you have to travel several kilometers on foot to reach the goal. When on the road at least contact with the enemy would OK ... but it often happens absolutely nothing until you're close to the finish. Therefore, I can understand all The ones who see the campaign a bit boring. An action packed fireworks á COD is not expected here ... on the other side it is after all realistic. You end up far from the target and have to get used to stalk ... makes sense, yet it remains a bit naff.
The shootings and injuries are quite well done. Although one rarely dies at the first hit (unless it is a headshot), but it often happens that one goes down the first hit and first of all has to be doctored. There are headshots, chest hit, Armtreffer, leg matches and although to varying degrees, so that one sometimes more, sometimes less "bleed". Are your arms hurt, the objectives is significantly more difficult. Vedas injured legs, it is no longer possible to run the virtual soldiers. Well done! Sprints on the open meadow is no longer possible - tactically must be rethought.
The heart of the game, however, as could be expected was the multiplayer mode, even if you currently have to contend with many disconnections. But that will hopefully soon be repaired. Dragon Rising has many quirks and negative to offer, but online makes the game just endless fun and mistakes can hardly be criticized. Up to 8 players can enter a game, each player has a team with a total of 4 man forms - so 8 x 4 players, where the majority is controlled in accordance with the AI. And that is another point of criticism, this probably unintentionally brings joy. Because online to compete against AI is not nearly as fun as against a real opponent. However, the AI players falter ungemeint on the points account. The KI colleagues are often just on the horizon and around the Sniper may make you so one after another disassemble. That's fun! However, not so challenging. It is much better if would compete against each other really 32 real players would. That would give the game an incredible tactical options ... maybe that comes yes still a patch?
Again, the online mode: you can select between the following play modes - Annihilation, infiltration, Co-op. Does not sound like much, but enough for now. The fact that there are relatively few cards is to get over, because they are very large and tactically offer a lot of possibilities. But I'm sure that there will be more cards in the future. The online statistics is very extensive. Kills, Deaths, shots fired, shot accuracy, Missions Won Lost Missions and and and. The ranking system is also very well done. Gradually, the military rank increases. Ranging from ÜThe Private Private First Class Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant and and and everything with it. All in all, the online mode very funny and makes absolutely addictive.
Finally I can say that the game lives up to its hype, not justice, because Codemasters cheated a little and more has promised will be offered as a last resort, but it still makes a lot of fun - especially online! I have never played the first part as I said and can therefore draw no comparison (perhaps better that way?), For micht Dragon Rising but a successful game, even if it has been supposed not much with the first part and also not at this zoom comes.
