This clip is solid, nothing to say on that side. The problem is that the crab edges of the clamp are so thick that I can not catch the vast majority of hair. Nothing to do, I can not use it (although I've never had this problem with other crab claws, plus fines). Result, I gave up and did not use it ... shame
