That's why a personal test of the device for the customer would be appropriate - incl. Return if not satisfied (would be absolutely by replacing the brush attachment no problem - certainly not hygienic nature).
All requests from the manufacturer have been consistently ignored. On any of my emails was ever answered. Providers of Emmi Dental pointed out that the manufacturers would not provide for redemption and another vendor offered the withdrawal to cover the costs of the consumables (toothpaste, brush attachment), but reported on renewed demands also no longer.
The theoretical principle of Emmi Dental and last but not least here published lately on Amazon Reviews have finally has brought me to buy the device. Of course it had to be the Emmi Dental Professional and not (note irony) "cheap" Emmi Dent. 6
What's the difference, both devices according to the manufacturer?
The Emmi Dental Professional provides the "more complex electronics" and instead (note irony) ridiculous 1,400,000 vibrations whopping 1,600,000 vibrations. In enclosed "stuff" as mechanical scaler and Färbetabletten I'm not one. Since these differences the customer bottom line absolutely nothing to say (and probably mean nothing in practice), I type here easily a marketing gimmick, according to the motto "Who wants to have more, are also more".
Even when looking at the package the next criticisms: This unit is designed to help against so many problems in the mouth, it just so loud crashing inscription. Incl. lump sum for bad breath, as we know, (note irony) only has a single cause that can be eliminated through proper dental and oral hygiene. The announcement of "pearly white teeth" may of course at any dental care product now missing more. Quotes supposed buyers and users of Emmi Dental decorate beyond the packaging. "Said ... and my wife, my breathing became more enjoyable." So Adolf bus from Frankfurt Plumper actually no longer go. Especially if you have taken care of a little in Latin class and reminded that "Albus" the Latin word for "white".
The packaging is opened the device now in front of a: a piece of plastic, not particularly smart and indistinguishable from a mechanically operating cheap brush.
Before the first "cleaning program" Now my criticism of the design and concept: The producer announces the ultrasonic technology and micro-cleaning is a revolutionary product, packing it into the dress, however, a conventional electric toothbrush. The brush attachment, which would have to be a brush attachment (because this unit is not brushed), was chosen by the manufacturer, so the customer has the feeling that he would use a device for cleaning teeth. That makes about as much sense as if you had the first hair dryer in the world, designed in the form of a comb, so that the buyer knew he the thing to the head and should not stick to the butt is.
Even crazier: Since one ultrasound (also to instructions) sees neither hears nor feels that manufacturers have incorporated a small motor in the unit. This only serves the purpose that the customer has the feeling that he would just brush with a functioning tooth brush teeth. And this includes nunmal (note irony) a rumbling, buzzing in annoying frequency engine noise. This is in my eyes just yet "plump". A higher battery life, a noiseless and comfortable dental cleaning are obviously worth less than the Deceiving feeling one would conventionally brush your teeth. This makes as much sense as the fact that the brush head not mechanically stressed and by the ultrasound is cleaned and disinfected (also to instructions), but you should change this anyway every 3 months. The "Why?" the customer may be composed dense itself.
Also (note irony) is ingenious: The charge indicator lights up in red when you put the unit on the charging station. Quote from the manual: "also indicator lights up when batteries are fully charged and hand portion is returned to the Base Station - the charging process is automatically switched off." To sum up: The indicator lights up when charging and when the battery is fully charged each red. Now the price question: How do I know that the device is running low on charge and needs a serious charge? If everything is resolved at the Emmi Dental so awesome how, well then good night.
But never mind ... as long as the part does what it should do (clean in the first place, the teeth) ... The repeated mention of unique and clean mouth feel I can not confirm. I clean for over 30 years with a conventional toothbrush and after that my teeth have never felt rough or unrefined. The Emmi Dental brings no improvement but also no deterioration.
It is striking that the special toothpaste in the mouth mixes with increasing brushing time, increasingly with saliva. By another head shape as the brush shape this could have been minimized if possible. I am thinking for example of a kind of U-shape that wraps around the teeth and restricts the unresisting running the toothpaste down. The beginning thus still concentrated cream "watered down" gradually and would theoretically affect the function of the ultrasonic principle have (since the Emmi Dental This is ensured by the toothpaste).
The also already repeatedly cited increased salivation (which is obviously positive) seems to be no magic here. Who stays for 5 minutes with an open mouth and a piece of plastic between the teeth and in between does not swallow, is nunmal relatively fast together received a good amount of saliva.
My first flush transitions with the Emmi Dental I finished not (as described in the instructions) after about 4 but only after about 10 minutes (to play it safe). After repeated, vigorous rinsing the teeth appeared clean at first glance. When "Along driving" between the teeth with a probe, so many rest coverings and leftovers came as rarely before to light. Even through the recommended brushing (either with a conventional toothbrush or the brush attachment) after the cleaning process, these residues are not away. More intense mechanical brushing and flossing are necessary for a complete cleaning. So exactly what makes the micro-cleaning is actually so interesting (namely cleaning, inter alia, interdental spaces and other hard to reach areas) is not done by the Emmi Dental.
The several times mentioned, positive long-term effects interested me first just on the edge. Besides the fact that after daily, mechnischer cleaning and possibly incorrect brushing technique eg malträtiertes gums already recovered by the lack of friction on its own again, it seems to me in the first place on the direct effect. When I brushed my teeth, I would like that then no stubborn food and Belagreste are more between my teeth. And that's the case now times after using the Emmi Dental. The tendency, I would say that the backward with the Emmi dental remains are more than in the conventional brush cleaning. So if the Zahnreinung with the Emmi Dental should be complete, then you obviously comes to the subsequent use of a normal toothbrush and some floss and Co. are not around. Only on the Emmi Dental alone, I would not leave me.
I read in a forum from someone who has switched after several years without decay and conventional teeth cleaning to the Emmi Dental Cleaning and his dentist after a few months had to find a caries diagnosis. How true this is reporting (and whether the cause of caries finding the missing plaster effect of Emmi Dental really), I can accurately assess as little as the veracity of positive coverage. In my experience, however, that makes sense: I rely on the Emmi Dental and remain after each cleaning process several leftovers in the interdental spaces back, so this could possibly be a problem.
For me, that is, after the self-test: I have still no idea if I was a piece of high-tech holding me with the Emmi Dental in his mouth that his money's worth and that provides not only for adequate cleaning, but long-term positive effects brought about or if I here a cheaply produced, meaningless rumbling and humming something in the form of a toothbrush (for the record: This is the Emmi Dental not anywhere else hinsteckt well indeed in the mouth and) have to do the most as a nice complement neither shall traditional teeth cleaning (but then, of course, much too expensive).
Due to the uncertainty (I do not want to notice only after weeks or months, if I have my teeth cleaned thoroughly or not), combined with the criticisms concern the design, the cleaning action, the quality and the marketing Stategie of EMAG, set I here the lowest possible score on.
