My last card, a nvidia 275 was ngtx at current games like Rage, Skyrim, Battlefield 3 ... always very hot (sometimes up to 100 degrees) and at 70% but the Asus Radeon HD7870-DC2-2GD5-V2 purrs 50% Max 60 degrees at maximum settings. Strong buy recommendation
