Have ordered the external burner for my netbook, because I desperately needed to perform a clean installation, including data backup. So it was the same taken in excessive use. The design is at first very simple, but for the device all the more handy, I can only welcome. Even the immediate continuous use when burning my hard drive (both data CDs and DVDs) has mastered it very well. Here no errors have occurred and the write speed and the volume of the drive during operation are absolutely fine. From the bootability I could convince me positive also. I mention this because another review nearly stopped me from buying the product that claims to the contrary. However, does not correspond to the truth and the product description is true. (Of course, it must be ensured that the corresponding notebook from USB sources can boot and this should be checked for safety's sake before buying in the BIOS) Therefore, the assessment is positive all round, even if the device almost a bit comes unobtrusively and modestly. The price-performance ratio is in any case top!
