The connection software (Netgear Genie) shows full deflection, the data transfer rate is displayed with the maximum. Bottleneck is likely to be here the "slow" USB 2.0 port.
In practice, this makes but hardly noticeable. Stream goes smoothly in HD, file downloads with more comparable speed as before the move in my Gigabit wired LAN.
Also ping the online play has not changed. Is gelieben at 17-24.
I am completely satisfied!
UPDATE 06/2015:
Unfortunately I have to now change my good 5-star rating on a star.
Reason: Since 4 weeks, the stick does not work anymore. First it started with the fact that I the stick off and then plug it back had after booting so that it connects to the wireless network. In the meantime I can and plug it how and where I want, the stick is no longer recognized by the PC. Also on other PCs no longer. That would be a total of all not so bad, but: The support can be an answer unfortunately slow in coming, since now 3 weeks.
Fortunately, I have not yet disposed of my old wireless unbranded stick, which makes me now first again on the Internet.
For the price I expect a longer shelf life and a customer who after 3 emails within 3 weeks logs at least sometimes.
Shame...
