1st impression: When unpacking the tripod made a good impression. Solid, it slipped out of the associated plastic carrier bag and seemed at once quite "compact" and well made. At no point I could say that it looked like cheap plastic or a residual metal processing.
--- Positive ---
Handling: Setting up was easy, all connections, clamp fasteners, fittings are well made and consistently. Nothing stuck, but everything held, where should keep it. The tripod has a firm footing and can be adjusted in height quickly when needed. By built-in level can be very good control the level and balance inclines. The closure of the screw plate is processed Top, the camera can be simple "click in" and additionally secured with a small pin.
--- Positive ---
Bad weather: In windy snow in strong gusts nothing wobbled. Here I was able to immediately test the retractable spikes. Due to the material used, the overall structure remains flexible, but not moved despite a noisy place. After this mission, the entire stand was both wet and icy sections. Despite everything, it could push them together and pack easily. Up at home throughout the back and dried any damage or visible wet places are left.
--- --- Negative
Here I would like to mention is 2 points:
- The mounted above the ball head plate on which the screw on the camera Clip plate is snapped, has a little game and wobbles a little bit. This may annoy some circumstances, because if you have been searching the shot this minimal camera shake for the corresponding "skewing" and makes the image must be digitally rotated (minimum!).
- The middle telescopic rod can be adjusted while in the movement rate, yet it is something harkelig when pulling up or down slide.
The two negative points in my opinion are not very serious if one moves in the amateur photography. For professionals I suspect is not the tripod enough. Depending on the development in the next few months (if severe wear occurs, etc.) I would definitely recommend buying previously.
