by now almost one month trial period I would sometimes like to tell you my opinion on the keyboard.
The first impression -
I was happy because I finally had powerful times a real, Mechanical and none of these cheap rubber dome keyboards in his hands. Due to the high weight the 6Gv2 also gains a stronger premium feeling, I could hold with one hand on the sides barely. Moreover, I think they can stay like new for a long time.
But what is just nothing stands out first time. She looks up to the higher location, quite "normal". I deliberately wanted such a layout as I or similar unnecessary macros, any displays can do without on keyboards. What can be read here often is that some with the SteelSeries button (which serves as the FN button with which you can use the media functions of F1-F6) is used instead of the left Windows buttons disagree. I can say that I've come never provided during the game on the Windows button and the game was minimized, but I want to complain about it in any way. What bothers me is rather that the Enter key to the detriment of the "'" button has been enlarged, means that the' button a number is later instead of right next to the Elder (see picture) tp. If you often write English, or is simply not used to it, it slows down the operating speed (at least in the first few weeks) a bit.
Purpose and "test environment"
The keyboard I normally connected via PS / 2 on my desktop. The 6Gv2 is a great gaming keyboard you can sit an hour some vor'm PC and have carried out various tasks easily. - However, the emphasis here is on gaming. By Required Pressure Rate (required compressive force) of about 60cN the MX Blacks need tired (at least my) fingers extremly fast. The play worked a few hours, however, the write reasonably well, but you can feel after calming Zet in his fingers. I would therefore anyone know the keyboard sitting in office etc.
All this is but damn heavily dependent on personal preference. It may be that there are people who can write with your keyboard for a long time without any problems, without the finger fatigue. But for me personally it is a bit too high, and even as I write this review with you I already feel slowly the pressure force required
Nevertheless, the separation and returning it in good condition, and they probably will not be my last SteelSeries product.
