Now I was going for about 4 years, a new TV to buy, because the old (a tube TV the Philips brand) in the left and right edges always had stronger color distortions, I have now ordered in mid-December the above TV on Amazon.
I had been kept away from the flat-screen TVs, there was virtually no one who satisfied put my demands on a good image. Sure, the statue they all looked impressive and natural way better than the old tube. But who buys a TV to view still images on it. The drama always went off when any animal, human, or any other object in the scene move. One of them had streaks, the other fringes, the next one's tail. That might be OK if you the DVD "The most beautiful comet swarms our galaxy" looks at because such a tail may be quite attractive. In a sprinting cheetah all seems, however no longer so great. And since the cheetah also can not prohibit to move, so I'm rather had stayed with my old tube. That was indeed blurred, but at least the moving image was ok and both the cheetah, as well as I, happy.
Then, time not too long ago, it came to pass that the first television appeared, did not have this effect. And all even halfway affordable price regions. So for example, I may admire a Samsung TV with an acquaintance who had a great motion picture and also has the SD image shown reasonable. But what was that? Have I fallen for? No, there it was again! Billowing faces! What was that for an effect? Anyway, it looked terrible and took any pleasure in the films that ran it. One can describe the effect difficult, but you can watch it when you have a face against a dark background, in which one side of the face strongly, the other is weaker illuminated. Open view switch the pixels at each brightness level / color at different speeds, resulting in that both face Häften not move synchronously. The pure horror!
This phenomenon, I then can see in several television in major electronics chains. So let's first again with a new TV.
But then I saw him: With its discreet white unauffällligem frame and a great at first glance picture he was standing there in front of me and called to me: "Come here, to me, look at me, buy me!"
So I went to him, took the remote in his hand and turned around a bit. This was of course (unfortunately) does not go unnoticed for long, and so I did not have two minutes later one of those pushy sales next to me, who asked if he could help me. Since this particular species "No thanks, I just look" by an experience, do not be so easy to scare, I inquired of the seller some facts to the TV. Half of course he could not answer, although it was actually 08/15 questions, the other half already. As he had but my two or three built-in test questions answered incorrectly, I made up my mind later on the Internet and on the Grundig prefer to research website itself again.
Actually, it sounded quite good, only with the above Waber effect I could not clarify in advance, there stood no corresponding source material available in the electric market.
So I ordered the TV at random.
The search for the TV channels and the integration into the WLAN were done after a short time.
First, I tested the first TV in a completely dark room at the EDGE LED TVs so dreaded Clouding. To my satisfaction I found that it did not exist as this as well. After some time, although occur heat caused slight clouding effects, but which can be produced by scaling down the backlight at 60% almost completely eliminate. While this means that in total-white image, such as in "Leschs Kosmos" at the top and bottom of all minimal shadow aufreten, but otherwise it does not stand out. And Harald Lesch has so far not even complain.
HD channels are super sharp reproduced, as well as SD channels have a very nice picture. However, it is here also depends on the individual transmitters. While RTL and SAT1 look good in SD, which looks at Tele5 already different. But that does not matter, who wants to view the program of Tele 5, this should do anyway in proper style with a discarded Beamer and a good supply of alcohol and popcorn.
Since my wife and I, however, do not belong to the people who align their daily routines after the TV program, but a program then want to see, when it suits us, I have separated the TV back from the bowl and receive the program now fully in SD on a hard disk recorder, which I plugged in via HDMI.
Sure, the TV can also record directly to an attached hard drive. However, I will not be needed by broadcasters to be able to not skip advertising in HD recorded programs and to endure similar transitions lungs. Since I am a rebel and would the dark side for so long avoided, as it goes!
At this point, I can say nothing more.
However, it should be noted that the TV the SD picture very good upscaled. Therefore, you should also give him this opportunity, instead of letting already convert from receiver to 1080p the picture before. This led me partially to a very strong noise and podium effects. But all depends on the receiver to it.
So connected sees the SD picture at each transmitter different nice, but overall it's good. When watching a DVD even very good! Incredibly, what details can be seen there. Depending on the quality of the DVD image is sufficient even approached a worse BluRay.
These are, incidentally reproduced knackscharf, but what can one expect otherwise.
And the best: There is absolutely no Waber effect!
The image of the connected PS3 is also super. One can also read small print without problems. Also, the 3D effect is impressive, both effects that are visually behind the TV, as well as things that stand out from the TV. In Photo mode of Wipeout HD, it is me even managed to make the pivot companion completely protrude from the TV, so that they float above the coffee table. Blurring or aberrations occur in this case no.
However, one has to achieve this image quality, something rumschrauben to the image settings.
The default settings are ok though, but it's still much better. In particular, the whole image enhancer such as dynamic contrast, interframe calculation, etc. should be strictly off to enjoy the image so, as it was originally sometimes gedach. Otherwise, it may result in minor and major artifacts with fast movements.
While there are some saved in the Picture menu settings, use to but they are all not really, because always at least a part of the improver is on. Unfortunately, even with the default "game". Again, the interframe calculation is switched on, which unfortunately leads to a noticeable latency. Also, the image can start with some Games to flicker. Unfortunately, you can only save one personal setting which is unfortunately overwritten when I switch to a different preset and then there alters a value.
So best to adjust everything once and then stay away from this menu. Then it works well both with TV, DVD and BluRay as well as with the Games.
In the Sound menu, there are also a number of defaults. These are also not too bad, but I'll still everything to default. Sufficient for documentaries etc. completely from, for movies and games is always the surround system is used.
Unlike my old RöhrenTV occurs in the built-in speakers, incidentally NOT unloved resonant rumble at certain volume levels / frequencies.
The blue light on the bottom right is in standby incidentally very bright. Is in the living matter, but for the bedroom that would be nothing. In operation it does not bother.
Overall I would give the TV Area from 4 and 5 star, because it is absolutely convincing from the image, the restriction to only one self-created preset, which overwriting fast times by mistake, but can be annoying. The standby light should be switched off and an Internet browser would also be great. For that I would like to refrain from all advertising installed apps.
Since you can not give odd star, and the cheetah was very pleased about having no tail, I give 5 stars.
