I own the system now for about 2 weeks and have to say the sound is outstanding, although there was some work should get that.
I picked up the first package from the post office and it is sauschwer, at least the subwoofer weighs so to 20kg. When I first set up at home, the front and center speakers, I was thrilled, but it had not yet bowled me, also had been missing something that Decoderstation ...
I again picked up the mail and the 2nd thankfully much smaller and lighter package and the structure with the Decoderstation to your computer a KLAX (compared to before). Finally I was able directly to a cable (SPIF), which was about to connect.
Only problem was that I could choose with my Aldi PC no digital output ... Well the new drivers are installed and eh voila everything goes and the sound to far better than without Decoderstation.
Now just connect the rear speakers, but oh my was (guess 15m speaker cable) after 4 boxes (2Front, Center and 1Rear) consumed :( Well even checked what kind of cable this was (double connecting (Black / Red) x 2.5mm 10m) ordered and connected the last box.
But all the effort was worth it. Although I am not Soundfetischist, but whether you're just listening to a movie, or similar to the cinema is in the middle, is quite a difference. Therefore, I can Recommend this plant with best conscience.
One should also be quick, because when I had my appointed Been all sold out and I had about 2 weeks to wait longer for the new delivery.
One thing I noticed that bothers me a bit: you have to turn on only the Decoderstation so automatic operation of the subwoofer / the boxes (Auto Standby mode) in the active - mode changes. After that, I'll handle down again. The feature I find very nice but I would imagine that I occasion it irgenwann to save the time until the start boxes.
Now I just need a suitable TV: o)
