Hello, I agree with the positive reviews. The battery is processed excellent, purely optical, of course apart from the imprint, differences from the EN-EL14 only in the surface are (smooth instead of slightly rough) determine, but not in the dimensions / Details. The imprint of Patona is costly, Patona - so it is printed is a "quality brand from Germany", the battery comes from China. The "cells" of the Nikon come from Japan, assembled the Nikons are but in Indonesia. The Nikon P7100 does not mosquitoes and accepted the battery. What is not mentioned - the Nikon Df accepts the battery without a murmur and even supplied the energy for 'a lot of photos. Of course, each beige grabbed the Nikon charger (MH-24) also charges the battery without any acceptance weaknesses. Hard to say, but from the first appearance here this is not quite as strong as the Df battery (EN-EL14a) but has nominally less capacity, roughly comparable to the Nikon EN-EL14 weaker (Nikon: 1030mAh, this: 1050mAh). If in doubt because of different voltage 7.4V (EN-EL14 or Patona) vs. 7.2V (EN-EL14a) should arise: The manual describes the Nikon Df expressly that both the EN-EL14 and EN-EL14a can be used in spite of the different voltage. Patona supplies the battery in a small retail box, wrapped in a small plastic bag and with contact protection. I do not see the slightest reason not to recommend the battery. Update 02/2015: battery comes together with the Df mitlerweile in a D5100 for use - no problem. Runs good part. Greeting, Rounder6
