Since I already times two Logitech Alert 700i Indoor had in my hands, I knew that these are appropriate and need not PoE own power supplies.
The cameras communicate with each other via HomePlug, which is integrated into the included Logitech power supplies. In my view, no full-fledged IP cameras!
Looking for a cheap and quiet fanless PoE Switch !, I came across the TP-Link TL-SF1008P.
Other models from LevelOne (more features, more ports, high price and with fan with corresponding noise) I was already in use.
Fanless models of D-Link has been in continuous use very hot -> rice cooker ...
Now to the TP-Link:
All my IP cameras run separately and at the same time on the TP-Link.
I have the following equipment in use:
1. Sony SNC-CH180
2. Mobotix M22
3. AV5105 Arecont Vision
4. Vivotek IP8133
Current power consumption (with Voltcraft Energy Check 3000) 18.7 Watt (all IP cameras together!)
At night, the consumption is expected to be slightly higher because the Sony camera has built-in IR illuminator and these also need power when in use.
I am pleasantly surprised by the heat development of TP-links - which goes pretty much close to zero (the device itself and the power supply)
Strong buy recommendation!
