Bought AM1H-ITX motherboard with on-board DC for my ASRock me this power supply. Operate so that an HTPC. Since the CPU does not need a lot of juice, I did not want a standard ATX PSU have more in housing. Those things also begin only at 300 watts and therefore draw more power at idle. Unless you put a lot of money on the table for the efficiency certificate power supplies. And here, too much is cheating.
So in short: The ASRock AM1H-ITX with AMD Athlon 5350 CPU, 4GB of RAM Riegel, 64GB Kingston SSD and a Digital Devices DVB-S2 Dual Tuner card consumes only 18 watts in Idle total. Full load I have not yet tested. With my old 430 watt ATX power supply this Config drew 42 watts in idle. So more than double.
The power supply is only slightly warm and is silent, So for me no coils buzzing or similar.
