These include my Motorola Razr I, Lenovo IdeaTab S6000H, Pentax K-30 (formerly) and more recently my Nikon D7100
Furthermore, I have to get this film to try and friends. All are impeccably so far satisfied. Acquaintances I have the films (all anti-reflective) now even applied to the following devices: Nexus 7, Canon PowerShot SX600, Samsung Galaxy Ace, and some other.
----- Fit
The fit was very satisfactory to date in each of the aforementioned devices.
There were (!!!!!!) problems only with my D7100 as the film for the upper screen was a bit too small. On request from the manufacturer it was the answer that the Topdisplay is slightly curved and therefore liability Due may not fully extend across the screen the film within a day. Unfortunately, the previously mentioned nowhere. Had my previously been aware I had resorted to a more expensive real glass version! This point makes with this review 2 star deduction!
----- Mounting
Applying the foil is very easy in the films of atFoliX, since the films are very thick compared to other providers. Should a speck of dust has forgotten his (so, for example, countless times during my 10 "tablet, because I was not very thorough when cleaning), you can at times slightly lift the sheet with a strip of adhesive tape and remove with a further strip the dust grains. Some sets an extra dust remover-tape was also attached. Because the films are very fit, you have to align the sheet relatively accurately. Especially for inexperienced people, it is difficult to apply his great films now without any problems.
If you already can not stick nearly neatly normal films, should not expect miracles from this product also. However, I have so far always achieved very good results. I have been able to raise each film completely free of bubbles with tape after a subsequent processing. I never managed satisfactorily and Frustfrei with cheap sheets!
----- Picture Effects
The antireflective coating clearly shows its effect. Although you can be display in the blazing sun still does not recognize without any problems, but the reading is much easier in difficult lighting situations. In addition, significantly fewer fingerprints can be seen on the display.
However, this comes at a price: The picture loses its sharpness! Especially in a direct comparison, the difference is very noticeable. If you can not live with it you must engage forcibly to crystal clear version of this film (or real glass).
----- Durability / wear / protective effect
Probably the most important point for me. To say it right away: It is definitely possible to get scratches in these films. My smartphone is for the best (and living) Proof: It is an absolute commodity, can not expect any consideration from me. Every day it is deposited unceremoniously on tables, ends up with dust, dirt and sand in your pocket or slips times from his hand and bangs on the floor.
The housing of the smartphone displays now (after almost exactly one year) increased signs of wear. Larger areas of the aluminum frame are bare ground, quirks and scratches at almost any location. BUT: If I disconnect the battered Displayfolie every few months I get a smile on his face: the display of the film is in new condition! The set consisting of 3 films has now kept under daily heavy use about 1 year with me. The sheets were changed when my scratches are noticed too hard.
On my tablet situation is similar: After just over a year I have applied to the second set of films. The reason is that the tablet is often stuffed into bags or backpacks along with other items. Collisions with pens, coins, file folders, various metal parts or the like left halt its mark on the slide, but not on the screen below. Also this device is an absolute commodity and is treated as such. Therefore I need a film that withstands this stress.
The films on my cameras (formerly Pentax K30) and currently the D7100 from Nikon have never been changed. With these devices, I'm going to even more carefully and have so far failed to even get scratches in the films.
In summary, one can say that the films are made with me quite under very hard conditions and it deliver a very good job. Miracle should not be expected in a plastic sheet, otherwise you have to switch to more expensive real glass.
Cheaper films, however, keep the loads often does not even stand and failure directly at the smallest stress by damaging or fall off the screen. Ultimately me is the cost (in the case of my Razr I 7 for 3 film sets or one year use) the benefits absolute value and I will continue to rely on these films.
In summary, I can only recommend this film to all the people: The installation is very easy. Prudent people will forever make do with a set of these films without having to change. "Hardcore User" although sometimes need to renew the slides, but can nevertheless be sure to always have a very well protected display.
