- Great design, almost optimal size (I need and do not want a 5 inch bomber at the ear and in my pocket) is very good in the hand (when I compared the iPhone 4 my brother take into their own hands, it feels because the edges like a foreign object in my hand :-))
- Top handles: The smartphone has survived 2 falls on parquet and laminate flooring. The display has not broken or scratches gotten ... only the housing bottom at the edge of a minimal, barely visible abrasions!
- Battery: Over time, this can be something to ... after 2 years understandable. Keeps me about 1 day 10 hours on 2 e-mail accounts synchronization, 4-5 small telephone conversations, 10-15 Whatsapp messages, some Internet surfing. My subjective feeling after the battery had endured in the first year at about the same use about 1/2 day longer, almost 2 full days.
- OS and apps: Windows Phone 7.8 runs very smoothly and is very stable and easy to use. The number of crashes within the first 2 years I can count on one hand. The apps are all important present (Facebook, Whatsapp, etc). These two (FB and WA) will also continue to be updated for Windows Phone 7.8, which unfortunately does not apply to all apps, such as Skype, which has received the last update in the summer of 2012 and is no longer updated although it never WP 7.8 properly has run stably and functionality was very limited. Also in other popular Messenger Viber work or updates was set even though the app sometimes has functional problems. Furthermore, the last update of the maps for navigation's been a little longer .... probably will not even updated ...
On the one hand I can see the app developers understand that they focus more on the current operating system Windows Phone 8. On the other hand there are still many WP 7.8 - devices in use (and it will continue to be). The fact that these users simply left out in the cold with half-baked apps I find not good. At this development though this smartphone is not to blame, but that fact matters to me the overall impression or "overall experience" of this smartphone to why I depart 1 star.
Buy recommendation: 2 years ago clearly YES. Today I would rather advise to be a Lumia with Windows Phone 8 now. There are by now enough models in all price and size classes since. And the new major update to WP 8.1, which indeed all WP 8 - will receive equipment in a few months, the functionality of the operating system again expanded enormously, as I could gather from various blogs.
