Why did I want this BT InEars? Primarily, I wanted it for the sport. I ride my bike (road bike / mountain bike) while listening to happy music. But always bothered me the annoying cabling standard receiver ... hence the JBL BT's should remedy the situation. Could they meet my expectations - only conditionally !! Here the pros and cons.
PROS
- Here I have to say very clear and large PRO for the sound quality. Ambient noise is optimally shielded thereby InEars can produce ordinary pressure. The sound is very balanced and differentiated. I hear at once subtleties that have perished in the standard listeners in song.
- Coupling with devices will also work without any problems
- Battery life is also perfectly adequate
CONS
- What really disappointed me was the handsfree function that is specified in the product details with. And here I have to disagree with some reviewers. It makes no difference if you wear the InEars with the cable before or behind the neck, the voice quality is not to be used underground, in both methods. How could they, when there is no dedicated micro and the sound waves are supposed to be taken over the cable ?? !!
- Bluetooth Range: If I have my cell phone in the left pocket, it comes with the bike but often times to Verbindungslags. I must therefore necessarily the mobile phone in your pocket right, because the BT receiver / transmitter of JBL's is apparently built into the right ear. Here I had also expected more.
- Comfort: Again, I am disappointed. Although verhäddert through the flattened cable nothing, but they are so rough coated to just playing sports when you sweat, totally stick to the skin and pull with every move the ear. Since the remote control on the right ear hangs this also creates a permanent imbalance whereby the cable trying to slip always right. The time now is not a complete disaster, but sometimes it annoys yet and simply zippelt often around the cord.
- Battery status: The display / tone of the battery status is a joke. Once heard the sound of low battery status one has ne minute before simply turn the Dinger
NEUTRAL
- It was also bitched a lot about the plug-in connection of the charging cable. I can not confirm that. Sure, there are probably better solutions, but bothers me in any way and is absolutely practical.
- I can use the remote control my music player in the mobile phone (Windows Phone 8) control only conditionally. So skipping or coils of songs is not possible. If so well on the package, therefore no deduction. Perhaps there is in other phones / players yes more
CONCLUSION: The list of cons is quite long and not underestimate, so I've been thinking too long, the headset again to send back because the real deal they're not. In the end me the great sound and of little flexibility advantage has over wired headsets convinced the JBL's keep. This minimum benefit has a money but its well worth it ... otherwise I can only advise to Good Old Cable ;-)
