However, after receipt of this product came the bitter disappointment. The build quality is anything but convincing! The anodization is flawed in many places, nicks or burrs round off the overall impression. The threads are greased and stiff, the seal rings partially damaged already in new condition. The reflector is indescribable, a single temporary! The glass rattling in the lamp head, the attempt of tightening from the bezel creates no improvement. The glass is the way inside full of fingerprints and dust completely. Also missing the wrist strap in my copy.
Of the three Cree XM-L LEDs operate only two. These appear weaker than an also existing brand lamp with 700 lumens with regard to their luminosity. That is, if all the LEDs would work, then this lamp would probably have an approximate output of 1,000 lumens, which would go even considering the price still okay. The lamp is being advertised but with completely exaggerated fantasy 4,000 lumens.
For the low price I had the lamp forgiven so much and keep as pure lamp for rough use. But in view of this unsatisfactory in every way overall quality she goes back. For clarity I've attached two photos.
The question remains, if I had bad luck, because obviously there are also satisfied buyers.
