Pretty lamp but has worked only one day. Disappointing purchase. Yet had followed the instructions in the manual (watts, type of bulb, connection, etc). Now I am using the lovely shade as empty-pocket. And I'll recover the foot of this lamp into a candle holder (foot lends). So all is not lost !. I could return it for exchange, but with the cost of return postage, compared to the lamp price, it was not worth the trouble.
