Unfortunately, this product is not suitable for my 5 year old and still reliable Trekstor removable disk. The power supply has not survived but these five years without damage. So I tried to relate a replacement power supply by the manufacturer. I had all the model data * (s. Below) made and referenced Distributor Trekstor PSUs. The ordered at Amazon PSU was delivered quickly. However, it turned out that the connection that I had looked at virtually exactly had a slightly larger connector that was not compatible with my removable disk. I now expect that Trekstor has discontinued production of (spare) power supplies for these 5-year-old hard drive. Who uses the product below-listed from the home Trektor and a faulty power supply has * (it shows when the disc does not come after switching to the "rest / output status" and the red light is continuously illuminated), who was his plate installed easily in another case with an associated power supply. So the joy of old hard drive will hopefully get far. The ordered items I can not comment because I have not used it, but have their original packaging returned immediately to Amazon unfortunately.
