Have installed me in recent days, Adobe Acrobat XI Pro trial version, both on a notebook or on a PC. 64bit on the PC by the way in Windows 7 and Windows 8, the notebook only on Windows 7. In each case!

The standard allows himself around 2GB hard disk space, which is operating system level! FYI: The free PDF Creator comes out at around 35MB!

After I have walked under Office 2010 (64bit) a letter from .docx in the .pdf format, I realized that the letter head (header) has been completely removed by Acrobat. With Acrobat 8.3.1 on the same system did not happen that! This deplorable state of affairs I could not fix by settings. The information from the Footer were incidentally taken properly. This error occurred on all 3 test systems!

Then I try to convert the Word document via the context menu (right mouse button) directly. This action went several times in the sand. Only after several attempts started and finally the engine was doing its job. The result was, however, exactly the same as above, without letterhead! This error also occurred in all 3 test systems!

Result: Test aborted. Banana Software - matures at the customer!
