This tripod is very compact when folded and put away in its cover provides. It will be the perfect companion for walks or hikes. His weak point remains the fastening system of the camera which is a bit limited so careful using heavy equipment over 1.5KG, if not for amateurs like me there is good value for money (use with Canon D60 and objective 18/135
