He leaves us so many songs that go deep into the heart, always with intelligence and without ever losing sight of reality, tolerance and justice. He sat sign against xenophobia (Greek wine), leaned against philistinism on (An honorable House), warned us with the hymn to the future (your tomorrow), gave us the strength to break free from everyday life (I've never been to or not to lose heart New York) (What does not kill you, will give you new strength to live).
This album "Real Life - the tribute album" remains a wonderful memory!

Although not all the songs mentioned above are on this double CD, so it's a great cross-section over the decades. A small selection of over 1000 songs.
On the Disk 1 sing big stars like Chris de Burgh, José Carreras, Tim Bendzko, Jamie Cullum or Otto Waalkes Udos songs. My favorite part was the very soulful interpretation of Merci Chérie of Helene Fischer! Just wonderful!
On the Disk 2 Master has probably perpetuated his own favorite pieces themselves.

Addendum of 25/12/2014:
I have now looked at the tribute show on his 80th birthday for the second time. Yes, me, too, not all interpretations have achieved, but I would like to pay my respect to guests. It happens to be hardly possible to present Udos songs even better than the master, it could itself. I think it's great that the artists have made this challenge. From my perspective, it's about the esteem in which they have Udo Jürgens met with! And you succeeded!
