Ultra Capsule vs. Ultra Thin Air vs. Slim Armor

Slim Armor: very robust, consists of two components, fit and tight fit, is slightly larger than the other cases, but you should have seen. Clear recommendation, if one is not afraid that the device grows a bit! Exceptionally here no screen protector included. (Personal Rating: 5/5)

Why a protective covering? I had long time no use. Since the new devices are very thin, I find the handling envelope with a total enjoyable, partly because the cases usually have more grip. It also has the advantage that with appropriate design, the device is protected from impact damage and everyday influences and is thereby easily use even after long, intensive use and visually is still presentable, especially if you together with keychain always in the unit wears the pants pocket.

I had the following cases of Spigen for testing for the Galaxy S4 here:
- Ultra Capsule (black "Black Soul")
- Ultra Thin Air (Black "Black Soul" orange "Tangerine Tango")
- Slim Armor (dark blue "Metal Slate")

The Ultra Capsule silicone-like soft and flexible. The surface has a mettalic shine. The envelope is in terms of cut-outs for buttons and using the camera, etc. manufactured precisely. However, the Ultra Capsule is as easy to install as it sits: in comparison to the other cases quite loose and tends to slip off the device. The edge of the display is a bit wobbly and closes this does not always flush, especially at the recesses for the lateral button. For the Ultra Capsule is very slim. The feel is fine, but my Empfingen for something too slippery. The black is very prone to fingerprints. In my view, this envelope is not necessarily recommended. It is positive to note that an Ultra Crystal screen protector included. The films of Spigen are excellent. Whether it's good as a protective covering I can so difficult to assess, it probably comes as the shell just applied.

The Ultra Thin Air Case is just like the Capsule in black very prone to fingerprints. When the orange version this is not the case. Both are similar to the shape of Stark, but the Ultra Thin Air has no peripheral edge, but is also a perfect fit and sits in contrast to Capsule very hard and sure. It is made of polycarbonate (hard plastic). It doesnt add too much, unless you're taking it in one of the bright colors. The feel is fine, I find it a little too smooth. This is a matter of taste. A certain level of protection is ensured. Likewise is a screen protector. The case as a whole forms a reasonable compromise.

The Slim Armor Case carries slightly more than the other two cases, but also looks at the most trustworthy of when it should go to a drop test. Unlike the other two, the side buttons are here not spared - buttons have been integrated into the housing, which can be a bit strange at the beginning, especially if you use the device for some time. After a short adjustment period, I find it not so bad. Another special feature is the Two-layer structure. Most of the outer part is made of polycarbonate, the upper and lower edges and the inner side and the circumferential edge consist of a soft thermoplastic material (flexible plastic). Both materials are simply plugged together, but this is not a problem - the housing budge and yet the device can again take out easily. This allows the two components separate and can be a different color envelope using (the hard polycarbonate part is available in different colors). The fact that the case is very weak, it is also not as prone to Fingerbadrücke and acts just as high quality as it is processed. The smartphone has a firm, snug fit and is together with the envelope in excellent hands.
If one does not shrink from that the smartphone is growing a bit you should try this shell necessarily.
Only criticism here is exceptional with no screen protector. It is recommended because, for example, the Ultra Optics or the Ultra Crystal. The Optics is a somewhat more matt foil.

In addition, all cases are three Home Button Sticker Jelly in which in my opinion are very pleasing to the operation of the Home button and it is also worth to be purchased separately if you do not need or want to have cover. Unless of course you find the home button otherwise all right with his instrument ;-)
