bought 2 copies as bedside lamps in my bedroom to the deco neobaroque they are wonderful !!! Obviously it's Kartell design, very nice, crystal (plexiglass) transparent which diffuses light from a halogen bulb (included) by breaking it into a thousand reflections around. indeed very successful, both cozy and contemporary. impeccable light to read. Note that the picture shows the lamp "profile" that is to say that if you look closely the picture there is a kind of line right in the middle of the lamp (more visible on the foot). the lamp for another angle seem like embedded in a plexi plate. it is not easy to describe but :-p a simple web search with the name "Kartell Take" you will see this effect that can surprise. check carefully to avoid surprises!
