With the One Mini 2 I hold a really high-quality processed smartphone in ultra slim design in his hands. Even if it only a 1.2 Ghz Quad Core is installed, can by no means be called a slow smartphone here. The launch is nimble and the thumb control is working perfectly, quickly and without any judder. The presentation of HD video is smooth!
The display is with its size of 4.5 inches mE perfectly adequate (not too big but not too small). The display is clear and easily visible from the side. With an overall size of 13.8 x 6.5 x 1 cm, it can also still adequate stow away.
The rear camera takes with its 13MP for a built-in a smart phone camera good shots and acceptable HD video. On a normal camera in the same resolution, however, does not come close. Digital zoom I consider of no use, like all digital zooms. The front camera is 5MP for Selfies more than adequate.
Amazingly, I find among others the sound of music at issue. Where the magic of HTC from such a flat housing the necessary resonance chamber remains a mystery to me. Hats off !!
Accelerometer and location detection works correctly cute, fluid and fast. Likewise, the GPS sensor.
I run the HTC with a SIM by Vodafone (D-network). So far I have found no problems with reception. Even to me known poor reception points I have 2 bars.
Oh yes. Making calls it, of course;))
Battery: The specified HTC 556 hours stand-by time (3G) I think is sporty. In normal use (Internet, messaging) with Wi-Fi and 3G to get in power-saving mode is activated on a maximum of 3 days until the next battery charge.
The green notification LED is somewhat small and hidden behind a speaker grille. This can sometimes be overlooked.
Summary: A great smartphone.
Update 20/01/2015: In the meantime, I have a clear Bluetooth 4.0 In-Ear Headset gained me with microphone. Bluetooth 4.0 for the reason of the specific 4.0 Low Energy Power Saver mode. I can now report that a coupling under Bluetooth 4.0 runs perfectly simple and straightforward. Another plus point :))
