Unfortunately, the pump is so unbearably loud that you said you would a lawn mower in the aquarium and the SOUNDS AS can by the magnet nicely spread out. My cover forms a super sound box for the filter so the hum is to be taken anywhere in the room right.
So really not recommended, at least for smaller aquariums
